BAGGAGE TRADE MODEL LIMITED WARRANTY CARD
This warranty shall cover National/Panasonic Baggage Trade Models purchased in U.S.A. and Canada from National/Panasonic Baggage Trade Model Dealers authorized by Algert Co., Inc..  Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. warrants this product against manufacturing defects, and guarantees after-sales servicing at the National/Panasonic
Authorized Service Centers listed on this card*, under the following conditions:
The warranty period for the products listed below is 1 year for free parts and 90 days for free labor from the original purchase date.
Applicable Baggage Trade Models :
Color Televisions, VCRs, Video Cameras (except for Digital Video Cameras), DVD Players,* CD Players, Radios, Radio Cassette Recorders, Tape Recorders, Rice Cookers*, Cooking Appliances*, Irons*, Vacuum Cleaners

*As regards DVD Players, Rice Cookers, Cooking Appliances, Irons, there are some limitations on countries where the products cannot be used or repair service unavailable. Please refer to the list on the back page of this warranty card for details.
- To receive the services guaranteed by this warranty, the product to be repaired must be taken to a National/Panasonic Authorized Service Center together with this warranty card and the official purchase receipt.

Important Notes
  • The use and repair of certain products may be prohibited by radio control regulations or safety standards in some countries or areas. Warranty service is not available in those countries or areas.
  • In case a product is to be sent to any of the Authorized Service Centers for warranty-covered servicing, regardless of whether the warranty period is still in effect, all costs incurred for shipping, packaging and insurance are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Every effort is made to repair or service all products promptly; however, please be advised that there may be delays in repair/servicing if the necessary parts are not in stock at the
    Authorized Service Center.
Terms and conditions for warranty-covered servicing:
1) The products must be taken directly to an Authorized Service Center along with the duly issued warranty card and the official purchase receipt. Confirm at the time of purchase that the warranty card has been correctly and completely filled out. If not, the warranty may not
be in effect.


2) In case a product is to be sent to any Authorized Service Center for warranty-covered servicing, prior approval must be obtained from the Authorized Service Center.
*After obtaining such approval, the product shall be shipped at the customers expense plus prepaid return postage together with a detailed explanation of the technical problem and the warranty card and a copy of the official purchase receipt. Whatever the shipping method is used, all costs incurred for safe packaging and insurance, as well as any risk, are the responsibility
of the customer.


3)The warranty shall not apply to the following:
a) Accidents which occur during shipping and handling, and damage resulting from such accidents.
b) Malfunction or damage due to product misuse, abuse or negligence by the customer, or to any use of the product other than that described in the instruction manual.
c) Malfunction or damage due to fire, earthquake, flood, lightning or any other natural disaster, abnormal voltage, war or any other disturbance (revolution, riot, etc), unforeseen accidents, or any other external factors.
d) Products repaired, adjusted; rebuilt, changed, or converted by any person (including the customer) other than an Authorized Service Center.
e) Products whose serial number have been changed, tampered with or removed.
f) Products which are taken to countries where such products are not authorized to be used due to regulations and also, where not possible to repair, in such countries.


4)Neither the Authorized Service Center nor MATSUSHITA ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. nor any of its affiliates shall be responsible for any delay in repairs in the case that the Authorized Service Center does not have the parts in stock necessary for the warranty-servicing of the product, since the product was bought overseas and parts may have to be ordered from one of the manufacturer's overseas factories. Moreover, neither the Authorized Service Center nor MATSUSHITA ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. which supplies the necessary parts shall be liable for  warranty-servicing if the requested repair is impossible due to  import/export embargoes on the parts and/or other regulations or other unforeseen circumstances necessary for the repair, rendering the requested repair impossible.

5) Requests cannot be fulfilled to rebuild, change, convert, or adjust products to conform to the safety standards, voltage, broadcasting system, or electrical conditions of the country or region where the products is to be used. It is strongly recommended that the purchaser investigate
these local technical and safety factors before using the product in another country where the product was purchased.


6) No responsibility shall be assumed for indirect damages concerning the product. Any dispute arising out of this warranty shall be governed by Japanese law.

MATSUSHITA MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF THE MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN.
IN NO EVENT SHALL MATSUSHITA BE LIABLE TO BUYER FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
